A life-size statue of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is going to be installed at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, according to reports.
Sachin is known for his contributions to Mumbai cricket, and the statue will be the first ever to be placed at the stadium. It is planned to be unveiled on Sachin’s 50th birthday in April or during the World Cup later this year.

The president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, Amol Kale, said that the statue would be a small token of appreciation from the MCA for Sachin’s achievements in cricket.
The MCA has a tradition of paying tributes to its players who have contributed to the sport.
